Images that Inspired Me to do Arch Computing

Hello

Below are three works or images that inspired me to do Architectural Computing at UNSW.

1. This is a picture of an assignment I did in year 10 while I attended Gilroy Catholic College. It is not even close to being one of my best works but I loved doing CAD and designing a house during my school years. It was the highlight of my high school education (other than meeting my close friends :D) and I wish that I had continued in year 11 and 12.

2. The fact that i scored a high score was proven to me that I may be able to make a career around design. Coming from a mathematical and science driven family, it is uncommon for someone to study a subject that does not fall close to the subjects (like engineering for both my brothers). I love doing design work especially when putting together CAD images, because it is rewarding to see the final image.

3. While my greatest hobby is video games, I much appreciate the work of the artist strive to improve the graphics of the games. Though it may not be an option for me to study and work in the game design industry, their work can be transferred to the work of other graphic illustrators. Guild Wars 2 has developed the fundamentals for 3D design including: Models, Structural Architecture and Physics. Games have played a large of interest and strive for why I am studying Arch Computing.

Thanks for hanging by.

-Alex

PS. Pictures are on the way when I can find that folder ;S
